If you prefer gracious solitude, simply enjoy the property's beautiful outdoor setting. Enjoy the ambiance of the spring fed pond. You may even catch a glimpse of the blue heron that visits the pond or the turkeys that visit our cherry tree and hawthorn tree. Explore and splash in the creek's natural pools and waterfall, enjoy the wildflowers in the meadows, or wander in the woods and listen to the natural noises of the forest. Peace and quiet is what you will find here. Comfortable charming interiors include spacious living room with large fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, master suite, sleeping loft, and screened in porch. Every window gives a view of trees, pond, and/or pasture. The living room with cathedral ceiling has a CD player, VCR/DVD player and color TV with DSS satellite reception, wireless Internet connectivity, an antique upright piano, large 4’ wide fireplace which offers a great view of the fire, (wood is provided). You can view the pond from living room. Off the living room is kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with latest amenities (brand new Fridgedaire oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, fridge), all pots, pans, cooking utensils, and place settings for six. For your convenience we leave condiments in fridge, as well as coffee, teabags, hot chocolate, salt, pepper, and sugar. The inviting dining area seats 6 comfortably. There is a full bath (with 1-person shower) on the main level. There is also a second bathroom with a whirlpool tub which comfortably accommodates two. Additionally on the main level there is a master bedroom with a small bunk bed room off it which has a lovely view of the pond and pasture. The master bedroom has two queen-sized beds and sliding glass doors lead onto a screened in porch with a wonderful view of the pond surrounded by the trees. Off the living room a spiral staircase leads to the loft with a queen-size bed, rocking chair, and sky light. It is a beautiful, well-lit space, with views of the trees, rolling hills, and the pond. Vermont
is one of the most beautiful New England states boasting gorgeous scenery and
weather. You will find many scenic towns, parks, and recreation areas nearby.

Connecticut River or Route 9 through the Ski Country of Mount Snow and
Haystack. Go back in time visiting downtown Brattleboro which offers many
boutiques, restaurants, antique stores, and arts and crafts shops. We send each guest a 46+ page document containing everything we and our guests have
discovered about the area and activities around our log home.
