Rounding the bend in the driveway to the cabin you see the views of the trees, rolling hills, and the pond.

From the front porch you can hear the rushing stream and waterfall just below the cabin through the woods.

The waterfall can be very invigorating in the winter!

Here is a lovely photo taken by a guest looking up to the waterfall in the far distance.

The front porch opens into the family room which features a piano, TV with DSS Satellite reception, VCR, AM/FM Radio, CD player, two sofas, armchair, and a large fireplace..

The large fireplace in the family room provides cozy warmth and a wonderful atmosphere with the flickering fire light in the evening.

We installed a new floor in the kitchen and dining area on November, 2007

Between the main log cabin and the master bedroom addition is a new whirlpool tub which comfortably accommodates two.

The walk-through bunk bed room is a great getaway nook.

View from the master bedroom door through the bunk room towards the kitchen.

Off the family room a spiral stair case leads to the loft with a queen-size bed, rocking chair, and sky light.

The loft is a beautiful, well-lit space, with views of the trees, rolling hills, and the pond.

The master bedroom has two queen beds and a screened in porch.

We replaced the old olive green shag run with new linoleom on November, 2007.

The door from the bunk bed room and the sliding glass doors from the master bedroom lead onto a screened in porch, with a wonderful view of the pond surrounded by the trees.

You may even catch a glimpse of the blue heron that visits the pond or a pair of geese pausing here during migration.

The pond is approximately 60' in diameter. It has a clay bottom and is 12' deep in the center. It has newts, lots of frogs, catfish, and a shy painted turtle who suns himself on his float. Our dog loves to swim in the pond but she stirs up the clay bottom so often the water is opaque. The 3' deep pool below the waterfall is always clear and cool so that is where I dunk to rinse off.
