If you prefer gracious solitude, simply enjoy the property's beautiful outdoor setting. Enjoy the ambiance of the spring fed pond.

You may even catch a glimpse of the blue heron that visits the pond or turkeys that visit our cherry tree and hawthorn tree. Explore and splash in the creek's natural pools and waterfall, enjoy the wildflowers in the meadows, or wander in the woods and listen to the natural noises of the forest.

Peace and quiet is what you will find here. Comfortable charming interiors include spacious living room with large fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, master suite, sleeping loft, and screened in porch. Every window gives a view of trees, pond, and/or pasture.

The living room with cathedral ceiling has a VCR and color TV with Comcast reception, wireless Comcast Internet access, antique upright piano, large 4’ wide fireplace which offers a great view of the fire.

(Unfortunately firewood is NOT provided because, in 2009,  I injured my knee which means that bending and handling firewood is not an option so firewood will NOT be provided for the remainder of 2009 and for 2010. Currently the Price Chopper grocery store and the Bernardston General Store sell firewood by the bundle.)

Off the living room is kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with latest amenities (brand new Fridgedaire oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, fridge), all pots, pans, cooking utensils, and place settings for six. For your convenience we leave condiments in fridge, as well as coffee, teabags, hot chocolate, salt, pepper, and sugar. The inviting dining area seats 6 comfortably.

There is a full bath (with 1-person shower) on the main level. There is also a second bathroom with a whirlpool tub which comfortably accommodates two. Additionally on the main level there is a master bedroom with a small bunk bed room off it which has a lovely view of the pond and pasture. The master bedroom has two queen-sized beds and sliding glass doors lead onto a screened in porch with a wonderful view of the pond surrounded by the trees.

Off the living room a spiral staircase leads to the loft with a queen-size bed, rocking chair, and sky light. It is a beautiful, well-lit space, with views of the trees, rolling hills, and the pond.
